National Security Council Spokesman supports Ukraine
The White House National Security Council Spokesman, John Kirby, claimed that the Pentagon may be able to support Ukraine’s efforts only for a few weeks if the US Congress fails to pass a new funding bill. Kirby’s statement came amid fears of a potential government shutdown. The US has so far sent at least $75 billion in assistance to Ukraine.
