Symptoms of Eye Flu
- Eye redness, swelling eyelids, and itchy eyes.
- Yellow or watery eye discharge may or may not be present.
- Sticky eyelids.
- Children present with a fever.
Treatment for Conjunctivitis
- Use eye wipes to clean the eyes.
- Don’t rub your eyes.
- Avoid contact lens use.
- Consult a doctor before using eye drops.
- Consult an ophthalmologist if your eyes are burning or if your symptoms are severe.
- Avoid using home remedies
Prevention for the Eye flu
- Wash your hands frequently with soaps and apply sanitizers.
- wear protective goggles.
- Avoid touching eyes.
- Don’t share your Goggles, handkerchief, bedsheet towel, etc…
- Keep your environment clean.
- Avoid swimming and don’t be in crowded places without any work.
