The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has pledged $2.25 million worth of aid for urgently needed testing kits, training of professionals, and other critical supplies and services in the health, water, sanitation, and hygiene sectors to Bangladesh because the children of these countries were affected by dengue, and the UN agency warned that the dengue outbreak has now spread to 64 districts.

As per UNICEF’s record, the dengue outbreak in Bangladesh was reported in 21000 cases in the children category under the age of 15 years, and UNICEF’s medical support is ensured to take care of the dengue-infected children in Bangladesh. UNICEF is working to improve access to clean water and sanitize the Bangladeshi country because the outbreak spread into 64 districts because stagnant water was the major reason mosquitoes survived, so they are cleaning water and sanitizing with repellents to clear mosquitoes and prevent dengue transmission to the people in the country.
