2024 Election: Trump Announces Candidacy, Remains Resolute Amid Criminal Allegations

United States of America Former President Donald Trump said at CAPC that he would not quit the 2024 presidential election race even though he was indicted on criminal charges.
In November, Donald Trump launched his third presidential campaign. Trump’s campaign comes amid an ongoing Justice Department investigation into whether he inappropriately erased about 3,000 documents from the White House and manipulated the 2020 election results. In September, the FBI took 200,000 pages of records from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
A Trump lawyer has requested a federal judge prevent his former vice president, Mike Pence, from testifying before a grand jury about alleged efforts to overturn the former president’s 2020 election loss, citing executive privilege.
Trump was ousted twice on allegations of high crimes and misdemeanors, the first for allegedly utilizing US foreign aid to extort Ukraine and the second for allegedly encouraging the January 6 insurgency at the US Capitol.
