244 Runs in One Match: Cricketer’s Epic Achievement in English County Cricket

Prithvi Shaw inspired Northamptonshire’s 87-run win over Somerset in the England One Day Cup tournament on Wednesday.
Prithvi Shaw, after a record score of 244 runs in 144 balls for Northamptonshire, is the Indian batter, and he said that he is currently not thinking about his selection for the men’s national team.
Prithvi Shaw has been out of the Indian team for a few years. He played for the Northamptonshire side and won the Somerset in England one-day cup tournament on Wednesday. The Indian young batsmen are just 23 years old.
He was left out of the ongoing T20I series against the West Indies, and he is also absent from the upcoming T20I Ireland series and the Asia Cup 2023.
Prithvi Shaw asserted that he just wanted to enjoy his stint in country cricket.
After the completion of the game, Shaw said, I’m not really thinking what the Indian selectors may be thinking, but I just had a good time here. It was definitely an experience for me.
Prithvi Shaw thanked Northamptonshire for giving him the amazing opportunity to prove himself.
He stated that I was really enjoying the game and said that with the sun shining brightly, the batting conditions were good.
The sun was out, and it was kind of like Indian weather today (Wednesday). I wasn’t thinking about anything; I was just enjoying the game myself.
You know, when an inside edge doesn’t get me out, that means this is the day for me. He said that you have to be lucky sometimes, so I think this was a good day for me.
I didn’t look back after that. When I got 150 runs, I thought I was timing the ball really well, and the result is that the day is going to go bigger.
