A Request for Approval: How ChatGPT’s Shashi Tharoor-Style Writing
A person has asked the Chat GPT, an AI Artificial Intelligence Chatbot that has been developed by the Open AI, to write the approval in the Senior Congress leader’s and the Thiruvananthapuram MP’s typical style.
He also shared a screenshot of the prompt and the result of the ChatGPT. “Sir, even ChatGPT recognises your unique style. It was a fun experiment which I used to draft approval to be given in an official email,” a user named Devash wrote on X. “Awful. I expected you to point out a grammatical mistake in what chatGPT wrote,” another user wrote on X.
The prompt given to the AI chatGPT is, ”How would Shashi Tharror write approval in his typical style?”
The ChatGPT is the response after the prompt given, and as a result, “Shashi Tharoor, known for his eloquent and sophisticated writing style, might express “approved” in a more ornate and nuanced manner. Here’s how he might write it: “In due deference to the matter at hand, it is my esteemed privilege to affirm that the proposition in question has garnered the imprimatur of the relevant authorities, thereby conferring upon it the immeasurable distinction of having been formally endorsed and sanctioned.”
Congress MP Shashi Tharror often helps people reach their dictionaries with his use of long and obscure words. Reacting to the post, the Congress MP, Mr. Tharror, wrote that it was “awful.” Ask any bureaucrat who has sent me a file. I write ”approved!”
The post, which was posted by MP Shashi Tharror, has been seen by 3 lakh viewers in X. Mr. Tharror has posted and received huge comments on the social media platform. “Awful. I expected you to point out a grammatical mistake in what chatGPT wrote,” another user wrote on X. He said that there are grammatical mistakes in the ChatGPT result, which I have been given prompts for, has been given to the ChatGPT, and it has given the result with a lot of mistakes, so awful, said Congress MP Shashu Tharror.
A user wrote in X, “Even a large language model like GPT will start sweating trying to copy Tharrorian style.” The ChatGPT result was became the viral in the social media especially in the Platform X formerly Twitter by the post of the Congress MP Shashi Tharror.
The third user wrote that “what the AI has thrown up is a smoke screen of verbiage, which is saying in simple terms that the advisors in the chain of hierarchy have endorsed it and the final sanctioning authority is approving based on collective wisdom and jurisprudence. But legally, who is responsible?”
MP Tharoor has shared the difficulty of the foreigners in pronouncing the name of his constituency, Thiruvananthapuram, and the opined name of the capital city should have been Ananthapuri.
