Prime Minister Trudeau’s Assurance: No Intention to Provoke or Escalate with India

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, “We are not looking to provoke or escalate. We want to work with the government of India to lay everything out clearly and to ensure there are proper processes” for reporters. Justin said that he did not provoke India but wanted New Delhi to take the killing of a Sikh separatist with the utmost seriousness. Trudeau earlier alleged that Indian government agencies were involved in the killing of Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The US had said that it was “deeply concerned” about the allegations made by Canada.
