Israel’s Gaza Evacuation Request: A Response to Ongoing Conflict

The United Nations Organization said that the Israeli military has been told that the 1.1 million Palestinians in North Gaza should relocate to the South within the next 24 hours. The Israeli military was ready with the tanks near the border, and they ordered the evacuation of the civilians from Gaza City. The Israel Defense Force said, “Residents of Gaza, move south for your personal safety and your families. Distance yourself from the Hamas terrorists who use you as human shield. IDF will continue to operate significantly in Gaza City in the coming days, and wishes to avoid harming civilians,” the Israeli Defense Force said.
Gaza had to share its boundary with Egypt on the south and with Israel on the north and east. The UN has ordered the Israel Military to take back their orders on Gaza for relocation within 24 hours to avoid a tragedy that will turn into a calamitous situation. “The UN considers it impossible for such a movement to take place without devastating humanitarian consequences,” the UN said. The United Nations moved its operations to southern Gaza after it was said that the order would be applicable to the UN staff who were sheltered in the UN schools and clinics. The top US diplomat, Antony Blinken, was visiting Tel Aviv. The war between Hamas and Israel is still ongoing, from a week ago until now, with no peace in the near Middle East. There are at least 1,200 dead in Israel and 1400 in the Gaza Strip since the war began on Saturday. The 1,500 Hamas operative bodies were found in the Israeli Territory, and the government claimed them. Israel has imposed a complete siege on Gaza, cutting off the water supply, fuel supply, and electricity supply. The Palestine Territory shut down the power plant on Wednesday after the fuel was running out. Israel has vowed that it won’t allow humanitarian aid into Gaza until the Hamas release the hostages.
An Indian national who returned from Israel says, “We were in touch with the Indian government since the second day when all of this started. They were active in WhatsApp groups and in contact with us. They were cooperating with us, providing all the information.”
Similar to India, Nepal also evacuated its citizens from Israel. Nepal Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud says, “Till now, a total of 557 Nepali citizens have registered themselves, out of which 503 wanted to return back to Nepal and a total of 254 students have been evacuated under the first phase of evacuation…”
The Hamas launched a fierce rocket attack, and hundreds of its operatives went on the rampage in the Israeli border town on Saturday. They were kidnapping the civilians of Israel and taking them to Gaza. Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Syria have become the new challenges to the Israeli military. Israel targeted Syria in the two main airports in Damascus and Aleppo yesterday.
