Cloudburst Tragedy Claims 7 Lives in Himachal Pradesh; Grieving Community Reacts

Seven people lost their lives after a cold burst incident in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district. Six people were rescued after the cloud burst incident at Mamligh village in Kandaghat, Solan district.
One cowshed and the two houses were washed away due to the rain flow.
Due to the heavy rains, all educational institutions in the hill station are closed today for the student’s safety.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu instructed all district collectors in Himachal Pradesh about road damage and devastation. He also said to close the road routes and repair the damage caused by the landslides.
The chief minister instructed the home secretary and DCs to keep watch over the situation in view of heavy rains. The administrative staff should be alert and maintain the arrangements for roads, water, and electricity.
