The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 24-17 in a thrilling game on Sunday afternoon

The Vikings jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first half, but the Eagles rallied to tie the game at 17 in the fourth quarter. However, the Vikings scored the go-ahead touchdown with just over two minutes remaining in the game.

  • Justin Jefferson caught a 75-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins in the first quarter. It was Jefferson’s first touchdown of the season
  • Dalvin Cook rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown. It was Cook’s first 100-yard rushing game of the season
  • Jalen Hurts threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns. It was Hurts’ first game with multiple passing touchdowns since Week 10 of last season
  • Alec Ingold scored a touchdown on a 1-yard run with just over two minutes remaining in the game to give the Vikings the lead. It was Ingold’s first career touchdown

The Vikings improved to 2-0 on the season, while the Eagles fell to 1-1. The Vikings will next play the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, September 22nd. The Eagles will next play the New York Giants on Monday, September 26th.
