Chandrayaan-3’s Lander Lens: Discovering the Moon’s Secrets

Chandrayaan-3 touched down on the uncharted lunar south pole at 6.04 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2023. No country has ever landed on the treacherous South Pole, which scientists believe could hold important reserves of frozen water and precious metals.
Leaders from across the world congratulated India on this achievement, as the country now joins the elite group of our countries. India is also the First country to land on the south pole region of the moon’s surface.
