
October 4, 2023: Canada wants private talks with India to resolve a diplomatic spat that has arisen over the alleged involvement of Indian intelligence officers in the murder of a Sikh separatist in Canada in 1998.
India has denied the allegations, but Canada has said that it has evidence to support its claims. India has also asked Canada to withdraw 41 diplomats from India.
