
Popular Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta to Receive Special Award from Birmingham City University
In exciting news, famous Bollywood actress Preity G Zinta is going to be given a special award by Birmingham City University. They want to honor her for her amazing work in the Indian film industry and her kindness in helping others. She will get this award in India next year.
You might know Preity Zinta for her fantastic acting in Hindi movies like “Veer Zara.” She started her acting career in 1998 and quickly became a beloved star in Bollywood. Besides acting, she also helped as a UNAIDS ambassador to fight HIV/AIDS.
But that’s not all! Preity Zinta will also visit the United Kingdom, making her first appearance there in over ten years. She will join the Diwali celebrations in Birmingham on November 4th and 5th.
Diwali is a special celebration for many people around the world, known as the Festival of Lights. Her being there will add more sparkle and happiness to the festival.

She said: “It’s a tremendous privilege to be receiving this honorary doctorate from BCU, especially given its strengths in business and media that chime so well with my own career.
“I’m very excited to be part of the Diwali celebrations in Birmingham and look forward to meeting all the wonderful people there, marking the Festival of Lights together.”
