
October 6, London: Big Brother, the iconic reality TV show, is returning to British screens on Sunday, October 8, 2023, after a four-year hiatus. The show’s producers are hoping to recapture the series’ early popularity by once again offering viewers an unvarnished social experiment.
“We, as a nation, became so obsessed,” the British show’s host, Davina McCall, said in a recent interview. Channel 4

Big Brother follows a group of strangers who are locked away in a house together for several weeks, with no contact with the outside world. The housemates are constantly watched by cameras and microphones, and their every move is broadcast to viewers.
The program was initially presented by Davina McCall MBE from its inception in July 2000 until its cancellation by Channel 4 ten years later. McCall declined to return as presenter following the program’s move to Channel 5, and the role was taken up by former series winner Brian Dowling
