The case was filed against Vaishnav under Section 302 of the IPC.

• The deceased person is Deva, a 24-year-old woman from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala who had been living with Vishanv from Kerala Kollam at the rented apartment for the past two years.

• According to the police reports, they both studied together at the same college and worked in the sales and marketing sectors. Neighbors have told police that they quarreled, but the police said they have not made any police complaints about each other in the past.

• On Sunday, it happened in the South Bengaluru Begur area. The man killed his wife by hitting her with a pressure cooker.

• Vishnav was on the run after the incident was over, but he was caught. A case has been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.

• Police said that the accused admitted that his wife was growing close to another man, so he was irked, which led to the murder.
