India has won 71 medals at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. India is rising in sports, and Indian athletes are shining in Asian games in all categories, achieving Gold, silver, and bronze medals. The Indian contingent has won 16 gold, 26 silver, and 29 bronze medals.

The Indian men’s 4x400m relay team won the gold medal in the Asian Games and finished in the first final. It consisted of Muhammed Anas Yahiya, Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Ajmal Variyathodi, and Rajesh Ramesh. India’s Ojas Pravin Deotale and Jyothi Surekha Vennam won the mixed-team compound archery gold medal at the Asian Games 203 in Hangzhou.  “I move on very quickly in such situations. If I take it with me, I will panic which will lead to more trouble. Coach just shrugged his shoulders when I hit that 9 and that put me at ease,” the champion said. “We just have to support each other no matter the conditions,” she added. “It will be against my mentor, so it will be a friendly match of sorts. I am looking forward to have two Indians competing for the gold at the world stage,”Oja said.
