Amrit Kalash Yatra Launch in New Delhi by Amit Shah

The Indian Union Minister and BJP Party Leader Amit Shah will launch the Amrit Kalash Yatra in New Delhi today, September 1, 2023. The Yatra is a 100-day program, and the journey covers 7,500 km across India. The reason for the yatra is to mark the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. The Amrit Kalash Yatra began at the Red Fort in New Delhi and will conclude at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat State. It will pass through all 28 states and the eight union territories of India.
- The Amrit Kalash Yatra (“Meri Maati Mera Desh”) campaign was announced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate the achievements of the nation and its brave hearts and to address the fact that Meri Maati Mera Desh will be launched to honor our brave men and women.
- The Union Minister, Amit Shah, said that the yatra is a celebration of India’s freedom and a commitment to the future. He said that the Amrit Kalash Yatra will be the highlight of India’s achievements over the past 75 years and will inspire Indians to work together to build a better future.
- The Amrit Kalash Yatra will be led by a team of 75 youth leaders across India, and this team will visit schools, colleges, and other institutions to spread awareness about India’s history and its beautiful culture.
- Amit Shah said that the Amrit Kalash Yatra was a unique opportunity to connect with the people of India and a great time to build a stronger and more united nation. Under this program, special inscriptions will also be installed in the lakhs of the village panchayats.
- The Amrit Kalash Yatra journey will carry the saplings from different parts of the country. Amrit Vatika will be built near the National War Memorial by fusing the soil and the saplings that will arrive at the 7500 km mark. The Amrit Vatika is a grand symbol of the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.”
Odisha is the land of the Matrys, and the program in remembrance of all the Matrys and the soil was collected from the land, and it will reach the hands of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
