Because of this, until now there has been no official statement on the post-production work issue from the Dunki movie production team.
If there is a delay for the movie, there is no competition for the Salar Movie of Prabhas on December 22, 2023; it will be a solo release, and we have to wait for the official announcement. The Salaar movie director is Prashanth Neel, who has had a blockbuster hit in Indian cinema with the KGF 2 movie. On X formerly Twitter the film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan wrote, “Buzz: #SalaarVsDunki X #ShahRukhKhan’s #Dunki likely to get POSTPONED. #Prabhas’ #Salaar to get a SOLO record release.” On X, film news page Lets Cinema wrote, “Reports suggest, #Dunki might get postponed from December 22nd due to delayed post-production timelines. Awaiting on official confirmation.”
The same director will be directing the Salaar movie with Prabhas, and the producer of the Salaar movie is also the same as the KGF2 production; Homable Films spent the big budget on the Salaar movie. The Salaar movie photography was begun in Godavari Khani, Telangana State, and the music director of the Salaar film is Ravi Basur. The cinematography is done by Bhuvan Gowda. The editor of the Salaar movie is Ujwal Kulakarni. Cast of Salaar Movie: Prabhas Prithviraj Sukumaran, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Shruthi Haasan, Saran Shakthi, Eswari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy are in the lead roles.
On Instagram, Homable Film Production shared a new poster and captioned, “Coming bloody soon! #SalaarCeaseFire Worldwide Release On Dec 22, 2023.” In the intriguing poster, Prabhas was seen with blood on his body.
Recently, Shah Rukh Khan announced the release date of the Dunki movie at his recent blockbuster hit Movie Jawan Success Meet event. “We started on January 26, Republic Day (with Pathaan), then on Janmashtami we released Jawan, now New Year and Christmas are around the corner, we will release Dunki. I keep National integration. Anyway, when my film is released, it is Eid.” he said.
