India’s Medal Tally at Asian Games 2023 Reaches Century Mark with 100 Medals
India’s women’s Kabaddi team won the gold medal against Chinese Taipei in the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, The People’s Republic of China, on Saturday. In the final match for the gold medal (26-25), India won 1 point more than Chinese Taipei. This is the third gold medal for the Indian women’s Kabaddi team in Asian Games history.

India reached the 100-medal mark at the 19th Asian Games on Saturday as the women’s kabaddi team won the gold medal after defeating the Chinese Taipei in the Women’s Compound Individual Archery. Jyothi Surekha has won the gold medal, and Aditi Swami has won the silver medal.

India Jyothi Surekha Vennam has already won the gold medal in mixed women’s compound archery at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, and one more has added the gold medal in individual women’s compound archery. She defeated So Chaewon of South Korea 149-145 in the final and made a hat-trick of gold medals. Jyothi Surekha Vennam has won three gold medals, including the individual compound women’s archery.
