From COVID-19 to Disease X: A New Global Health Challenge
COVID-19 has turned into a new challenge issue, and healthcare professionals are preparing for the new potential of the new pandemic called Disease X. The experts from the healthcare department issued a caution for the new virus; it can be devastating, like the Spanish Flu of 1918–1920. The World Health Organization coined the term, and health experts are sounding the alarm for Disease X.
The health experts said that the potential new pandemic was 20 times more dangerous than the coronavirus. In the year 2020, there was a wide spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has tragically killed 2.5 million lives worldwide.
The Chairperson of the UK Vaccine Taskforce from May to December 2020 said that she believed that Disease X could turn out to be more dangerous than COVID-19.
