Vikram Lander Enters Sleep Mode: Chandrayaan-3 Mission Progress

The Indian Space Research Organization tweeted that Around 08:00 IST today, Vikram Lander was put into sleep mode. Prior to it, in-situ tests are carried out at the new site by the ChaSTE, RAMBHA-LP, and ILSA payloads. The Earth receives the collected data. Payloads are currently turned off. Receiver Landers are kept on. Once the battery is dead and the solar power is gone, Vikram will fall asleep close to Pragyan. The awakening is anticipated for about September 22, 2023.
The ISRO tweeted that mygovindia organized the Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz to commemorate India’s incredible space exploration voyage, to explore the mysteries of the moon, and to demonstrate our passion for science and discovery.
