Aditya L-1’s Triumph: Chandrayaan-3 Gears Up for Its Lunar Journey on September 3, 2023

ISRO is ready to launch the PSLV-C57 for the Aditya L1 mission on September 2. This is the first space-based Indian observatory to study the sun from ISRO, which will be scheduled for launch on September 2, 2023, at 11:50 IST from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, using the polar satellite vehicle PSLV XL.
- Solar Mission Aditya L1 is a space-based solar observatory that will study the sun’s corona, photosphere, and chromosphere, as well as solar flares and coronal mass ejections. This spacecraft is outfitted with seven payloads that will collect data on the sun’s atmosphere.
- The Aditya L1 mission helps scientists better understand the sun and its impact on the Earth. It has also improved our understanding of space weather, which can affect telecommunications and power grids.
- Indian Space Research Organization scientists are excited to launch the Solar Mission Aditya L1 on September 20, 2023, and contribute to the global effort to better understand the sun. These missions are major milestones for ISRO and an example of the country’s growing capabilities in space science and technology.
