What is LPDC and How Does it Work?
The LPDC is the Lander Position Detection Camera of the Chandrayaan-3. It will capture pictures of the moon The images of the moon are captured by the Lander Position Detection camera. The images were captured when the Lander’s position detection camera was attached to its propulsion module. Vikram Lander carried out the first deboosting successfully. The second Deboosting is scheduled for August 20, 2023. The pressure in the LPDC is 0.7 bar and the Chandrayaan-3 experiment was controlled by the ISRO.
In the low-pressure die casting the die is filled with the metal from a pressurized furnace, with pressures typically around 0.7 bar. The Holding furnace is positioned in the lower part of the vertical die-casting machine with the molten metal injected upwards directly into the bottom of the mold.
