In the past 72 hours over 1000 citizens were rescued from flood-affected areas in Himachal Pradesh. This year the state is mostly affected because of the heavy monsoon season are noticed in Himachal Pradesh and 72 people lost their lives in the incidents mostly by the landslides. Over the past three days, the ANI reported according to the data collected from the disaster management 1,762 houses were completely damaged and 8,592 houses were partially damaged. this monsoon season witnessed 113 landslides. The National Disaster Response Force along with Army, and Border Security Force are helping in the Rescue Operation.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is interacting with Rain affected people in Mandi

The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister tweeted today after visiting the rain-affected areas of Sarkaghat assembly constituency in Mandi District, Matehdi, Baldwara, and Jukain, and said he interacted with the affected people from these places. He stated that for partially damaged houses, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for each family. He said that he interacted with the 23 disaster-affected families of Gram Panchayat Gahera and asked the Administration to provide all possibilities to the affected families and provide facilities for the people to live on the Relief Campus.

IMD scientist Surender Paul said there are four days of scattered rainfall in the state

Scientist Surrender Paul said to the ANI reporter this year the higher Monsoon season in Himachal Pradesh next 4 to 5 days Scattered rainfall is there and after this, there is controlled rainfall till August 25.

The ANI posted a video on Twitter the rescue operations are going on and the rescue team was working on it to help people they were ready to rescue the people who are affected by the landslides in Shimla Himachal Pradesh
