Moshe Bryski, a local rabbi from Chabad of Agoura Hills, described Kessler’s death as “just a tragedy.” Kessler’s wife, upon receiving the shocking news, was left in a state of total shock.
Paul Kessler, who was part of a counter-protest during a pro-Palestinian demonstration, attended the rally as a proud supporter of Israel.
He had also participated in a previous demonstration in response to the October 7 Hamas terror attack on Israel.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and as of now, no arrests have been announced. Authorities are seeking any available footage from witnesses that might shed light on the circumstances surrounding Kessler’s death.
A man allegedly involved in the altercation has been interviewed by investigators, further complicating the situation.
