Washington, D.C., October 13, 2023: The White House announced on Thursday that the United States will arrange charter flights to evacuate its citizens from Israel due to the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
The announcement came after 27 Americans were killed and 14 remain unaccounted for in Hamas rocket attacks on Israel. The attacks have also injured thousands of Israelis.
The White House said that the charter flights will be available to American citizens who wish to leave Israel. The flights will depart from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv and will arrive at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.
